Basecamp Clone1 min read ruby-on-rails
I have been playing a bit with a new Rails app - a personal portfolio site for my friend. Being not a creative for an administration panel for it, I decided that it would be nice to have one which has already been though through.
As I use Basecamp in everyday work, I thought it would be nice to test how a similar design would work for any other application. So here it is:
Have a look at screencast showing the way the app works. I must admit that guys at 37Signals really did a great job. The design is clean, professional and usable.
What is more, the application model is fun to code. All that AJAX and DHTML parts make you want to code more :) .
